Almost a Meltdown

Yes, that is indeed what my husband almost had. He vowed to not hear, look, or ask about the Braves home opener today because he had it set to record on our DVR. He got home, changed clothes and took his spot in front of our TV. When he hit the play button it had only recorded 24 minutes. 24 minutes of the Cardinals opener at that. He lost it. He kept staring at the TV asking what happened. In the 24 minutes we were able to see that the Braves were down 3-0 in the first inning. He went in to his "don't talk to me I can't handle this" mode. Luckily he found a replay of the game while flipping thru the non-HD channels. We were watching the first hour but now it's time to cheer on the Butler Bulldogs. I'm assuming from Facebook that the Braves won... and hey, they will play approximately 180 more times this year and the Championship game only happens once.

Thank goodness for Baseball season. The world feels right again. Work, Dinner, Braves...Repeat.
