You know when you have so much on your plate and you'd love to accomplish it all in one day but no matter how hard you try you knock one thing off your list just to uncover another? That's me, that's this week. Not personal, but professional. Pray that I sort out all my thoughts and to-do list's and come out on top Friday afternoon. To relieve some stress I took Charlie on a 40 minute walk around the neighborhood. I'd accidentally left his leash at Memaw's so it was finally time to invest in a big boy leash. His old one only let him get about 8 feet from me. He didn't seem to like that too much. He loved the 16 feet of freedom his new leash gave him tonight. He was pooped when we got home. I don't think he's recovered yet.
The His and Her shower this past weekend went well. As expected, we ordered too much food. Moriah was in charge of the games. She found this really cute game where each person held one of their own shoes and one of their partners. She then read off questions and they lifted the shoe of the person whose name answered the question. How funny are these pictures...
(This may have been "who is always running late...")
(I believe this was the "who spends the most money" question)
I'm so thankful to have a husband who not only let's me host things at our house but HELPS! He got up and cleaned the yard, house, and even picked up the food. How great is he? Lucky me!
Our mini party pad
And as promised, here are pictures of both my "T" frame and THOMAS alphabet art. I love both of these pieces! I am so glad that I finally took the time to put pictures in the frame. It only took me what, um, five months to do so. And special thanks to my grandmother Carol for having my THOMAS photo framed. I kept searching online but could not find a 6 hole frame anywhere. I found two at Christmas (for my sis-in-law's) but got completely scammed after one arrived shattered and the company never responded to my polite then not so polite emails. If you're looking for a great gift try alphabet art. My co-worker gave one at our last work shower and it was all the rave. Everyone loved it! It's relatively easy to put together on your own as well (as long as you have a common frame size last name!)
That's all for now. Be sure to check out the 101 in 1001 list to the left. Day by day I'm trying to put a few more objects in red and hopefully cross off a few too!
